Halogen lamps

Halogen lamps are compact lamps which, thanks to the halogen cycle, provide almost constant luminous flux over their whole life.

The color temperature lies between 2900K and 3450K depending on type.

PAR lamps

PAR Lamps are special halogen lamps widely used for excellent stage and effects lighting. OSRAM PAR Lamps lead other PAR brands in design and material technology - delivering unmatched brightness, ease of handling (lighter), and durability. Halogen PAR 64 and PAR 56.

PAR-lamps are halogen mains voltage lamps with an integrated parabolic reflector. They are used for stage and effects lighting. The axial arrangement of the built-in lamps produces a very smooth light distribution. Popular PAR Lamps include the PAR 64 (comes 110V/120V, 220V/240V and in Very Narrow Spot, Narrow Spot, Medium Flood, and Wide Flood) and PAR 56.

Metal Halides lamps

Metal halide lamps are AC lamps in which the arc burns in an atmosphere of mercury vapor and halogenides.

Based on the HMI family, further groups of lamps have been optimized for special applications, e.g. HMP, HSR, SharXS HTI and most recently the 4ArXS HSD/HCD product group.

The halogen metal vapor technology enables high luminous efficiency, good for better color rendering and color temperature similar to daylight. Since the invention of HMI lamps in 1968, they have been continually developed and improved.

Today the product spectrum encompasses double ended and single ended lamps, with and without outer bulb, from 35 to 18000W.

Studio line

The OSRAM fluoroscent lamps STUDIOLINE 55W with 5600k and STUDIOLINE 55W with 3200k are especially designed for lighting in cinematography, TV and video recording.

Due to the special mixture of phophors, the light of the STUDIOLINE lamps blends without any problems with the light of HMI respectively tungsten halogen lamps.
